We hope your break has been restful, filled with laughter and that you are eager to begin your learning journey with us once again. Summer has slipped away, and September is now upon us, and the thought of going back to school can evoke a multitude of feelings. It may be your child’s first day at school, or they just be returning after the long summer holiday, either way marks a new beginning and an important milestone in their lives – and yours. These new beginnings are, of course, all very exciting. But they can also bring about feelings of worry and concern. As a Trust, we want to let you know that you’re not alone and we’re here to support you all from day one.
Here at Transform we are proud to be able to offer a wide range of learning opportunities for our children to encourage them to engage in new challenges, find their passions and be the very best versions of themselves inside and outside the classroom.
Our school motto ‘Together We Achieve’ is at the heart of everything we do – because we know that teamwork is so vitally important both at school and in all aspects of life. Together we can make sure that coming back into school is an exciting process and we can talk about the full range of feelings that may arise as the new school year unfolds.
We can use our core values of Respect, Kindness, Equality and Creativity, to help our pupils, their families, and our staff to navigate the new school year ahead of us. New challenges can appear at any moment and by working together we can face any obstacle placed in our path and turn them into a rich and exciting opportunity to learn, grow and flourish.
We’re passionate about our reading programmes and are always keen to share our love of good books – especially books that will help our children build confidence, not only as young readers, but as young people. These stories can spark conversations, explore important topics such as bravery and resilience, and help children articulate how they really feel. Let’s make September the month to share stories.
